VISITORS INTERPRETIVE CENTER
Tourist office with an interpretive center telling the history of the area and the construction of the Alaska Highway.
Operated by the Department of Tourism and Culture, the Watson Lake tourist office bears witness to the history of the region and in particular to the construction of the Alaska Highway. You will be able to settle down in the small movie theatre of the interpretation centre to watch a video on the construction of this titanic project completed in 1942. A good way to understand the effort and hard work that went into this construction.
