WATERFRONT TROLLEY
Historical tramway offering a good idea for a ride in a fun way for children with interesting explanations.
This historic 1925 tramway runs along the Yukon River from Rotary Park in the north to Spook Creek Station in the south, past the S.S. Klondike, a paddlewheeler of the time. The driver provides historical information about the City of Whitehorse, its historic past, and invites passengers to get on and off at various stops along the route. A great idea for a walk with the kids, and a fun way to discover the city. Interesting explanations are also given on the White Pass & Yukon Route.
