YUKON WILDLIFE PRESERVE
Agency organizing walking tours on a 5 km loop or by small bus with comments from a guide.
Immense territory where more than a dozen wild animals from the Far North live in gigantic enclosures. Wood bison, moose, elk, Dall's sheep, caribou, lynx, arctic foxes and muskoxen can be observed in their natural environment from the walkways and lookouts near the fences. You can choose to walk the approximately 5 km loop (allow a good two hours) or take a small bus with a guide's commentary and stop in front of each paddock. Provide water and good shoes.
