S.S. KLONDIKE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
A paddle steamer near the river with kitchens, a restaurant and the splendor of first class cabins.
Visit a paddlewheeler, in service from 1929 to 1955, used to transport passengers and ore along the Yukon River. Today, the boat is located a few meters from the river and can be visited from the holds to the cabins, via the kitchens and restaurant room, decorated with antique objects that bring back the atmosphere of the place during its golden age. The splendour of the first-class cabins says a lot about the fortunes that were built in the first half of the last century.
