SIX-GLACIER PLAIN
The Plain of Six Glaciers is an inviting place to take a walk, either as an extension of Lake Agnes or from Lake Louise for a day trip.
In the extension of Lake Agnes, this walk is quite difficult and long (11 km round trip, allow between 3 and 5 hours). A small cottage nestled in the woods offers some supplies. From this point, you have one more kilometre on a narrower path to reach the highlight of the show. If you have time during the day, the best place to start is from Lake Louise via the Six Glacier Parkway. On the way back, it is possible to branch off to Lake Agnes, go down to Mirror Lake and end up with a view of Lake Louise.
