Sea-Tac welcomes 34 airlines (more than 45 million passengers per year) and 24 direct international flights to and from Seattle (including Paris). It is also the main airport hub of Alaska Airlines.
From the airport to the city centre:
By tramway. The most economical way to get to downtown Seattle is to take the Link Light Rail, the tramway that connects the airport to Westlake Station in the heart of Downtown in about 45 minutes and for only US$3.25. In the centre, it also stops at University St, Pioneer Square and International District.
By taxi. Count between 40 and 55 US$ to reach Downtown. Uber, Lyft, Sidecar and metric taxis provide this service.
In shuttle. If there are several of you, you can opt for this transfer by sharing the costs. The shuttle will drop you off directly at your hotel. Shuttle Express Downtown Airporter and SpeediShuttle offer it in the airport lobby at US$20 per person.
In the car. Car rental companies are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the airport. Take Wash. 518 towards Seattle, then the I-5 highway that crosses Seattle from south to north. Allow about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.
