The Sound Transit Link Light Rail connects the airport to downtown Monday to Saturday from 5 a. m. to 1 p. m. and Sunday from 6 a. m. to midnight, every 7 to 15 minutes. This tramway, which was put into service in 2009, becomes underground as a result of the city centre. The line is expected to be expanded in 2016 to reach Capitol Hill and Washington University.
