Built in 1909 for the Alaska and Yukon exhibition, this hotel, located just across the street from the University of Washington campus, offers 27 modest but distinctive, comfortable and well-kept rooms, charming with woodwork, thick carpet and soft beds. The prices are unbeatable. Each room has a sink, but showers and toilets are shared. Coffee, very lively pub in the basement.
