CAPITOL CIDER
Located at the corner of Broadway and East Pike Street, the Capitol Meyer offers a fairly successful pub cuisine in a chatty and sifted atmosphere. But the real reason for crossing the threshold is a weekly event: the Monday evening jam jam! In the vast basement of the establishment, the «Downstairs Bar» takes place of the «open pendulum» of an incomparable quality, the musicians and singers who walk on stage being mostly of the regulars. In an atmosphere reminiscent of the crazy years, spectators get a walk or guinchent, a pint by hand, while others challenge parts of "shuffle board" (kind of table curling) at the bottom of the room. If you are in Seattle on a Monday night, please do not hesitate: it's definitely the place to be! As the location is often crowded, it is recommended that you arrive at 20 pm.
