SEATTLE AQUARIUM
This very large aquarium located on the seafront at the bottom of Pike Place Market gives a good overview of the nearby state of Washington and the neighbouring Pacific. More than species of fish and invertebrates are present. You can caresser sea stars, listen to the killer whales singing near San Juan Island or see a Pacific giant octopus lunch. The central part of the aquarium is quite unique: hundreds of fish revolve around the viewer at 360 °. But the most interesting of these may be the submerged dome that allows for the evolution of perch, penguins, beavers, seals and other marine animals (including birds) on the Pacific coast.
