SEATTLE CENTRAL LIBRARY
Isolated in the jungles of the downtown skyscrapers, the diamond-shaped central library is an architectural marvel designed by the Danish architects Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Ramus. Opened in 2004, it does not leave indifferent, that it is considered from inside or outside. His adore yellow escalators, his sweet pink chairs and his hundreds of computers give him a futuristic style. The reading room on the top floor offers a beautiful view of the area. The library contains over 1,45 million books and at least 400 computers connected to the Internet as well as a large auditorium.
