It's an institution in Mons. The decoration is a bit kitsch (Bécassine and other hanging dolls), the whole is as rustic as the dishes, concocted by the boss following good old Belgian grandmothers' recipes and floor prices, for generous plates. We come to feast on shrimp croquettes or a gargantuan chateaubriand (thick slice of beef). Meat is in the spotlight, and you have to have a hell of an appetite! Ask for the sauce on the side if you're afraid of excessive toppings.
