LOSSEAU HOUSE
Private mansion that includes a literature center, an interpretation center, temporary exhibition rooms
The Mons lawyer Léon Losseau transformed his house into a private mansion adorned with all the artistic finesse of the sumptuous Art Nouveau movement of the time. Registered on the list of the Exceptional Heritage of Wallonia, restored by the Province of Hainaut, the private mansion includes a literature centre, an interpretation centre and temporary exhibition rooms that welcome the public all year round. Among its treasures, one can discover many books (including the original edition of Rimbaud's Une saison en enfer) and a collection of medals.
