ST. NICHOLAS-EN-HAVRÉ CHURCH
Building of baroque style in facade and classic inside, particularly provided with baroque woodworks in Mons.
The 15th-century church was burnt down in the 17th century and rebuilt in 1664. The tower of the present-day church is a 15th-century remnant. The façade is Baroque, while the interior is classical. It is particularly well furnished with Baroque woodwork, and the choir's decorations are surprising: a large sun, banners with cherubs... And above all, a statue of Notre-Dame de Montserrat, a relic proudly brandished at Montserrat folk festivals..
