Air China, China's national airline, operates scheduled flights between Kathmandu and Chengdu, its new regional hub in Sichuan province. From there, one can find all possible connections to other Chinese cities. The flights are direct, which means that passengers do not have to change planes in Lhasa as was previously the case, reducing travel time from four to two hours. Please note that at the moment only two weekly rotations are provided between Kathmandu and Chengdu.
