One of Pokhara's most chic addresses, the Bahari is a 5-star hotel in the heart of Lakeside, which unfurls its garden and elegant swimming pool in front of its modern building. It has taken the codes of Newar architecture, with its bricks and exposed beams, and combined them with contemporary lines. The 80 luxury rooms make the Barahi a popular choice, and reservations are often required. However, if you're looking to rent a standard room, there are only ten or so available. Deluxe rooms are more spacious.

Barahi is a very particular Pokhara: well located, not too expensive, it is one of only in its category, namely neither super luxury or guest house.
It is really worth the price, and the food is very good (although it is better to eat at the edge of the lake, if you are in the one day monsoon, do not hesitate!)
