Association for tourism and local economic development in Nepal
This association, based in the village of Pandeli, high above Pokhara, supports the development of sustainable tourism and fair trade by working with local populations. The association produces coffee, honey, cheese and other products, giving Nepalese women a degree of economic independence. Coffee Experience Tour & Village Hiking exists for tourists wishing to contribute to these projects. Profits are donated to producers and education.
