FOLK HERITAGE MUSEUM
Museum in a typical 3-storey Bhutanese house made of adobe and wood, displaying traditional objects related to daily rural life
This museum is housed in a restored 18th-century Bhutanese house of adobe and wood, spread over three floors. You'll learn a lot about the traditional Bhutanese way of life in the countryside, floor by floor, and it's very well documented. The museum exhibits traditional objects relating to rural daily life in particular, and offers a true testimony to the life of the little people. Don't miss the old-fashioned kitchen on the3rd floor and the traditional stone bath (dotsochapsa) in the courtyard.
