TRONGSA TSCHECHU
Go there and contact
This is one of Bhutan's oldest and most authentic tschechus. Not many tourists around.
It is one of the oldest and most authentic tschechus in Bhutan. You will meet very rare tourists there. It takes place in the Trongsa Dzong, one of the most important monuments of the kingdom. Built on a ridge, it shelters several temples and in particular a watchtower, the Ta Dzong, which overhangs the valley. The course is quite similar to other tschechus: ritual dances, music, family lunches and deployment on the last day of a great Thongdrol. Ask about the dates as the event can take place in November.
