Inn with a trail through a long-established cider-making apple orchard
Maurer, a Swiss-German who came to Bhutan on a mission forty years ago, never left. This enthusiast is responsible for the production of Red Panda, an unfiltered local beer, wine, honey, and cheese making. Today, his son has taken over the property. The trail leading to the inn passes through a field of apple trees, which have long been used to make cider. Gourmets will appreciate the homemade bread served for breakfast, as well as the braided brioche on Sunday morning.
