Walking Stick Safaris organizes mobile safaris mainly in the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, but also in other parks and reserves around the country. The company is run by Philimon, a young Botswanan originally from the Okavango, as is his team. Philimon's services are of the highest quality, and he carefully adapts his itineraries to your wishes. Our main aim is to show our visitors the beauty and richness of the wildlife and the abundance of birds, but we would also like to offer you a visit to a village in the Okavango Delta. This would be an opportunity to discover the local culture and learn more about the livelihoods and concerns of the people.

7-Day The Best of Botswana
From 2025-01-15 at 2027-12-31
This best of Botswana safari starts from Maun, the gateway to the world-famous Okavango Delta. The tour covers Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and Khwai. The activities include bush walks, mokoro safaris and game drives. We offer you a 4x4 safari converted vehicle as well as a professional guide. Camping gear, all meals, and bottled water will also be provided.
Day 1 & 2: Maun to Okavango Delta
On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by a guide at the airport who will transfer you to a mokoro boat station. Upon arrival at the station, you will be met by a poler who will stay with you for 2 nights. The activities include mokoro and bush walks.
Day 3 & 4: Moremi Game Reserve
Your poler will transfer you to the boat station where you will be met by your guide and slow drive to Moremi Game Reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way. 1 activity for a half-day and 2 activities for a full day.
Day 5 & 6:Khwai Concession
Your guide will advise you on your transfer times to the Khwai area the evening before departure.1 activity for half a day and 2 activities for a full day.
Day 7:Khwai Concession to Maun Airport
Your guide will advise you on your transfer times to Maun Airport the evening before departure.You will have an early breakfast and drive slowly with a picnic lunch on the way.

Day 11:Chobe Riverfront to Victoria Falls
After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Victoria Falls town or Kasane airport. We can help you to organize accommodation in Kasane town or Victoria Falls town.
4-Day Khwai Concession

Day 1:Maun to Khwai Concession
You and your family will be met at Maun Airport for your short flight in a light aircraft to Khwai Jangle Inn in Botswana's Khwai Concession, one of the country's top wildlife destinations.
The accommodation includes four en-suite rooms, with a styling African feel and modern welcoming touches. This is a wonderful place to unwind and relax between exciting safari adventures in the wildlife-rich areas of the Khwai Concession and Moremi Game Reserve.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, served in the warmth of the dining room, made with love and only the freshest ingredients - we will head out on an afternoon game drive. Khwai Concession is the only officially protected and preserved part of the Okavango Delta, and is also known for its excellent and reliable wild dog sightings. You can also take out your binoculars as your guide will point out the migratory birds, tiny frogs and unusual game like lechwe and sitatunga. Other sightings may include elephant, lion, hyena, and cheetah.
Day 2:Khwai Concession
Today we'll spend most of the day in the bush on game drives. Departing after breakfast, hop into the safari vehicle - it is time for your magical mokoro excursion. Glide through the thick vegetation of the Khwai river, float past crocodiles basking in the sun, and watch bathing elephants and yawning hippos. When returning to camp, hungry bellies are treated to an extensive brunch.
After brunch and a siesta, we will head out again in search for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region.
Experience the thrill of a night drive as we continue our game drive into the early hours of the evening (approx. 2 hours). The darkness presents the opportunity to encounter rarely seen animals such as aardvark, pangolin, honey badger, porcupine, small and large spotted genet, springhare, including nocturnal birds and elusive predators like leopard.
Day 3:Khwai Concession / Moremi Game Reserve
After having explored the Khwai area, we now head into the famous Moremi game reserve, known as one of the most beautiful and varied reserves in Africa with an unprecedented concentration of wildlife. The morning is spent in the reserve, with a good chance of seeing leopard, lion, wild dog, hyena, kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, elephant, buffalo, and impala, to name a few. Birdlife is quite amazing in the area.
You'll have time to relax and have brunch in Khwai, before an afternoon game drive in Moremi. Moremi boasts diverse ecosystems ranging from floodplains, waterways, lagoons, grasslands, riparian forests, and riverine to mopane woodlands.
Day 4:Khwai Concession to Maun
Depending on your departure flight details, you will head out for your final game drive in the Khwai Concession. After your morning game drive, you will be charter flown back to Maun Airport for your onward travel arrangements. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
