NGUMA ISLAND Lodge
A camp offering two types of accommodation: a top-of-the-range lodge comparable to those in the delta, and a campsite for modest budgets.
Nestled on the shores of one of the delta's largest lagoons, this rustic lodge blends harmoniously with nature. It is built on a series of raised pontoons that link the 20 comfortable tents to the communal area, featuring a country-style restaurant, swimming pool and bar overlooking the lagoon. The highlight? The sunset boat trip, where you can observe numerous species of birds, sometimes even crocodiles and hippos. There are also mokoro excursions through the delta's labyrinth of channels. Camping is also possible.
