Camp with small, well-equipped and comfortable cabins, spread throughout the reserve, with camping sites.

Two camps, Mokongwa and Boma, allow you to camp or stay in small cottages. The eight cabins are of various sizes, and are well equipped and comfortable. There are 22 campsites throughout the reserve, each shaded by a large mokongwa tree, which provides a pleasant coolness during the hottest hours. On-site restaurant and swimming pool from which rhinos can be spotted! Game-drives and other activities are offered.

Lovely camping. Wish each campsite had it's own wash up area and shower. And more sign posts. But the most beautiful scenery and night skies.

Schöner Ort um Nashörner zu sehen. Gerade der Birdview war ein Highlight. Der Campingplatz ist schön gelegen und ruhig.

I had the pleasure of spending a day (and overnight) at Khama a few years ago. This was my first true "safari" experience in Africa, and did not disappoint. We saw a wide variety of game on our drive through the sanctuary, including Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Warthog, and various others (including a Dung Beetle!) Our experience turned magical when we entered an enclosed area for viewing birds, and to our delight, stumbled upon a group of beautiful white rhino at extremely close range. What a delight, and what a way to begin my Africa experience. The accommodations were fine, but very hot at night, and you had to wear netting to circumvent the bugs. We had dinner on-site, and the food and service were very good. I highly recommend the visit, and hope to return someday soon.
