Housed in the old Government Camp buildings, this friendly little museum presents the history of the region and the local communities around Francistown. It also features a variety of temporary exhibitions by local artists and occasionally organizes events. Its souvenir store is well stocked with handicrafts, baskets, pottery and jewelry, as well as a wide selection of books on Botswana and its history. This is also the tourist office. Perfect for finding out what to see in the region!
