KGOSI SECHELE I MUSEUM
Museum in a historical setting in Molepolole. A good place to discover the culture and history of Bakwena.
A good place to discover the Bakwena culture and its history. Opened in 1922, the museum was at the time a former colonial police station, built by the inhabitants of the Kweneng district of Molepolole in 1902. It is now a national monument. There are some very interesting galleries and permanent exhibitions as well as a village with traditional houses. There is also a souvenir shop to buy some gifts. Guided tours are organized in the surroundings of Molepolole.
