Slemish Mountain throne in the middle of the northern Irish countryside, west of Glenarn and Carnlough, towards Ballymena. It is a place of great beauty, culminating at 437 m and was the central part of a former volcano. It is also said that this was the first known home of Saint Patrick, the boss of the Irish, and that he lived as a slave and shepherd for six years. He turned to prayer to escape his solitude. During St. Patrick's Day, many people attacked the ascent of the pilgrimage mountain.
