An An is an essential place to learn about the region's biodiversity and archaeology, where there are more than 40 archaeological sites within a radius of 8 km. It offers many possibilities for walks, with marked paths of explanatory panels and symbols on flora and fauna. Picnic areas are planned.
The centre organizes exhibitions on the nature, culture, traditions, prehistoric monuments of the county, but also traditional music sessions, storytellers and guided tours of the region (archaeological, historical or hiking visits).
It is possible to stay in charming cottages scattered in nature (An Clachan cottages). A restaurant offers refined cuisine in a warm atmosphere, with excellent service. The souvenir shop is interesting for its local quality craft.
