HÔTEL LEVY’S
The Levy's is led by its débonnaire and fondateur founder, Mr. Levy, an Israeli who arrived in 1979 to become an adviser to Jean-Bédel Bokassa. Certainly, the spartan architecture of the 1970 s, when this electric blue cube was still a national diamond gem, is not very lady. No more than its imposing and very «administrative» central staircase. But Mr. Levy, who has always lived on the ground floor of his hotel, has been able to give him a second life, building a world for his imagination. There are various styles in a decoration where the stone mosaics dominate. The bright blue of the walls fits as well as the hard orange of the columns and chairs. The many rooms, air-conditioned but fairly old and quite clean, are a challenge to harmony of colours and colors… In the old building, rooms on the ground floor are really not welcoming, without window, with an old carpet not very clean (not really adapted when it is constantly hot and humid). However, the more recent rooms in the B Building (renovated in June 2012) are very nice and pleasant: tile tiles and clear paintings open space. The air conditioners are new. Hotel Lévy is a good address, especially for its relaxed atmosphere and permanent entertainment.
