MUSEUM AND LIBRARY: DISCOVERY OF THE PYGMIES OF THE LOBAYE
Go there and contact
A single room, clean and bright, decorated with beautiful black and white photos, recounts the daily and customs of Pygmies. Some tools, some weapons, medicinal plants collected in the forest simply evoke their life as hunter hunter. The Diocese of Mbaïki mounted this exhibition in association with the Pygmies of the surrounding villages. The library adjacent to this small museum contains valuable books, including those of Dr. Bahuchet, a Pygmées specialist. Offices allow the passionate spirits to stop a little to study this particular ethnic group. A rewarding stopover that allows you to prepare your trip to Ngotto or Bayanga. Free visit. Donations are always welcome.
