Camp Deroux is on the hill above the administrative camp. A monument was erected in tribute to the French army's resistance colonel, one of the first to respond to General de Gaulle's call for resistance in Oubangui-Chari. At the entrance to the camp, the statue of a leopard bouncing is the protective emblem of the battalion. The monument and the site on which it is erected must be set up, the whole being invaded by the herbs and fissured stele. But the 360 ° panoramic view of Bouar is great.
