Since 1998, Toubab Dialaw has been home to the Jant-Bi association and its Ecole des Sables, an international training centre dedicated to contemporary dance. Dancers and choreographers from all over Africa meet there to prepare young talents for the demanding world of dance. In addition to apprentice dancers, the centre welcomes writers and artists in search of inspiration. A unique place in Africa, founded by a talented dancer, Germaine Acogny and her husband, Helmut Vogt.
