Built in 1888, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Délivrance is one of the oldest in the country. A major Catholic pilgrimage site (Pentecost weekend), it bears witness to the important presence of Catholicism on the Petite Côte. It is home to the Black Madonna, blessed by Pope John Paul II in 1992. Since 2023, a new sanctuary has been built around the basilica, featuring a 500-seat reproduction of the Lourdes grotto.
