Created in 1976 by the late artist Malang Badji, this family-run camp sits on the edge of a beautiful sandy beach. The dozen or so clean, simple, mosquito-screened rooms are arranged around a colorful, flower-filled patio. Only a few have indoor bathrooms. Please note: no fans! You'll receive a very warm welcome, thanks in particular to Sanou, the painter's daughter. The hammocks by the water are ideal for reading or meditating, lulled by the sound of the waves. The plates are copious, and the food is good!
