Located a little further east of Simenti, in Bafoulabé, on the banks of the river. The site has been taken over by the G.I.E. des Guides du Niokolo Koba and is managed by Abdoulaye Kanté, a tourist guide. This rudimentary but authentic camp is now equipped with solar power. The ventilated huts, built from local materials, are simple and equipped with mosquito nets. You're in the perfect place to observe animals and, if you're lucky, maybe even lions. The welcome is very friendly, the meals are copious and the staff are extremely helpful.
