Nestled in the heart of the Niokolo Koba park, this hotel, left derelict for several years, has been taken over by the owners of the Oasis Oriental Club hotel in Tamba. At the time of our visit, the hotel was in the process of being refurbished, and four cabins were available. However, the site is still a work in progress, with a swimming pool far from operational and a restaurant barely completed, facing the Gambia River. Birdwatchers can take comfort in the viewpoint where numerous species of birds frequent a waterhole close to the hotel.
