Peluun or "little hill" in the Pulaar language. Overlooking a magnificent setting, this camp allows travelers to stop off at Salémata, a central position for visiting Bassari country. The site is home to ten Fulani huts, each with its own clever, clean sanitary area for open-air bucket showers, all set amidst magnificent baobab trees. Local meals served by Pasqualine in a lovely, well-ventilated hut dedicated to meals, and a warm welcome from the whole team. The best address in Bassari country.
