Charming hotel offering hearty breakfasts under the plane tree facing the pool and the sea

The name of small palace, U Palazzu in Corsican, is now widely justified for this proud 18th century Genoese building. Alexandra Lucchini has happily transformed her charming hotel to provide quality services: air-conditioning, a beautiful swimming pool, a luxuriant garden and a wellness area, all ideally located 300 metres from the beach and the marina. Copious breakfasts under the plane tree facing the pool and the sea. Small restaurant at lunchtime in high season. Friendly welcome from all the staff.

Open from mid-April to the end of October. Reception 24h/24. 28 rooms (and 7 apartments for 2/8 people). Apartments from F2 to F4 from 310 € to 1 700 € per week. Low season : double room from 85 € to 175 € ; triple room from 160 €. Buffet breakfast : 15 € (sweet and salty). Closed parking (and bicycle garage). Baby bed offered. Cheques not accepted. Nous avions trouvé ce petit hôtel sur le guide du petit futé et avions effectué notre réservation direct en ligne sur la site de l'hôtel. Pas du tout déçu, la description du guide parfaite. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel pour voyage en amoureux ou en famille. La Solenzara est très bien situé au bord de la mer et à deux pas de Bavella pour faire les randos que nous souhaitions.
Un clin d'oeil à Cristina pour son excellent service petits déjeuners, merci.

We went in June 2011, we in the main home. The hotel is style 18th well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms and the rooms are high ceiling with exposed beams of the time. The decor is old but very nice, intimate lounge for Internet or small work reading or mail, room with bar, Spa carefully beauty treatments. The small lunch under the plane tree facing the pool and truly superb sea. Superb overflowing pool that gives the impression that it extends to the sea around a garden with lemon tree, palm trees, tree in beautiful flower. the service is nickel, cleanliness same. Small flat no restaurant in the evening, only snacks at lunchtime. Unfortunately you expected better for a 3 star hotel. Otherwise I recommend it to everyone to spend a moment of charm and comfort lovers or family. The owner is really very nice, qe the rest of staff.
