THE MONASTERY OF THE ASSUNTA GLORIOSA
Monastery to visit for around 1h15, with a chapel open all day and during liturgical services.
In 1988, the Bishop of Ajaccio invited the nuns of Bethlehem and the Assumption of the Virgin and St. Bruno to settle on the Monté Santu, a particularly wild site, where they began the construction of this monastery. The chapel is open all day, including liturgical services. It is possible to follow the track and walk down to the beach of Canedda (about 1h15). The sisters offer a desert welcome in silence and solitude.
