Off the coast of Pinarello, a charming little port lined with restaurants and ice-cream parlours, the islet of Ruscana has a tower which, in the 16th century, housed a Genoese garrison. The islet is off limits, but the beach of Ruscana, from which you can admire it, is accessible to the north of Pinarello. It is a beautiful beach of fine sand. To reach the beach of Vardiola you have to take the direction of Pinarello from Saint Lucia de Porto Vecchio and then turn left towards Testa Vardiola.
