Monte Stello, with its 1,307 meters, is the highest summit in Cape Corse. Departure from Pozzo with access by the D 54 from Lavasina or Erbalunga). Move westward to Bocca Santa Maria (about 2 h) then direction north to reach the summit of Monte Stello (approximately 40 minutes). Unbeatable view of Cape Corse. Alternative: from the top down from the other side of Cape to Nonza via Piazza and the pass of Negru (provide a vehicle in Nonza for return).
