AMBASSADE DE FRANCE
Special mention for the building of the Embassy of France in Serbia, located in the very heart of old Belgrade, facing Kalemegdan Park. On the plans of the French architect Roger-Henri Expert (chief architect of the government), this building was built in 1932 with class and elegance, aiming to reflect the French modernist architecture of the half-wars. It is worth a visit, except on 14 July, the following holidays: 1 and 2 January, 7 January (Orthodox Christmas), 16 February (Serbian national holiday), 6 April (Catholic Easter Monday), 10 April (Orthodox Holy Friday), 13 April (Orthodox Easter Monday), 1 May (Labour Day), 11 November (Armistice day) and 25 December (Catholic Christmas).
