Partizan Stadium is a soccer and athletics stadium located in Savski Venac, in the municipality of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The stadium is the home of FK Partizan Belgrade, one of the country's leading soccer clubs, and has hosted numerous matches for the Yugoslav national team. The stadium is often called Stadion JNA in Serbia, in reference to the Yugoslav People's Army. In 1989, FK Partizan Belgrade bought the stadium from the army and renamed it after themselves. The stadium was renovated in 1998 to meet UEFA safety standards.
