Bread and Pastry, a local chain with Daily Bread, is extremely popular in the country and now has more than twenty locations in Belgrade and Novi Sad (a number that is constantly growing). Set up by Marina Stojković, an engineer who was seduced by French bakeries and later graduated from the Grégoire Ferrandi school, it is a safe bet for a quick coffee break between visits. In addition to the traditional baguettes and viennoiseries, the house produces many cakes and other muffins as well as large macaroons that make its success.
