It is named after Stefan Uroš IV Dušan, King of Serbia and Emperor of the Serbs. The street starts at Trg Branka Radičevića and runs northwest along the Zemun cemetery. It crosses several streets such as Novogradska, Nade Dimić, Dobrovoljačka, Dunavska, Svetotrojičina, Slavonska, Branka Pešića, Tršćanska, Laze Jovanovića Porcija, Užička, Filipa Višnjića, Šumadijska, Mušickog, Ruska, Niška and Banatska. The street ends at Batajnički drum. Interesting buildings include the house of Sava Nedeljković, built in the Art Nouveau style, and the Queen Marie Orphanage, which features neoclassical elements and a functionalist influence. The street is served by several GSP Beograd bus routes.
