NEBOJŠA TOWER
Located at the foot of the fortress of Kalemegdan, this tower dating from 1460 is the only well-preserved medieval building. It was renovated in 2011 thanks to Greek donations.
Its multimedia space on the first floor traces the history of the tower as a prison. The second floor is dedicated to Rigas Feraios, the Greek poet and revolutionary who died in the tower in 1798. The second floor is dedicated to the creation of the modern Serbian state. On the top floor is presented the history of Belgrade in the first decades of the 19th century.
