The museum opened in 2010 in the basement of the National Theatre. The permanent exhibition provides a historical overview of the evolution of the theater and features a collection of contemporary costumes and sets. The theater is highly valued and its sets and costumes are often used in museum exhibitions elsewhere in the country. An entertaining if not exciting visit, the time to kill an hour or two in the visit of the capital.
