PAJA JOVANOVIĆ MUSEUM
The museum of the painter and collector Paja Jovanović is located in a beautiful academic-style building dating from 1930. The premises are largely inspired by the Viennese apartment where the artist lived from 1895 to 1938. Jovanović owned many pieces from the 18th century in addition to 211 works signed by the painter's hand. The paintings are actually divided into four categories: landscapes, portraits, historical subjects and nudes. You will discover that his wife was an important source of inspiration and that she often posed for him.
