In the continuation of the park, which begins at the extension of the main street Kneza Miloša, there is a forest of the same name where Belgraders walk, picnic and relax almost every day (13 hectares of the tallest plane trees in Europe measuring about 34 meters). In 1831 Prince Miloš Obrenović had his residence built there in a typical Balkan style, mixing oriental and classicist elements. Today, the konak houses a museum dedicated to the first Serbian uprising against the Ottomans.
