Located in a former cinema of the 1930 s at the bottom of the Dorćol district, the Rex is a place of culture committed, dialogue and social criticism. He works in the field of contemporary culture, performances, theatre, video, debates, free space for non-governmental organizations and various exhibitions, such as the very successful retro on Tito's cult cult 3 years ago. As has been understood, the Rex is Alternative, it has fiercely fought against Milošević and helps artists who have difficulty finding their place in the traditional circuit, while having given themselves a new mission, exploring the new cultural fields. The website, hosted by the famous radio/TV B 92, has an English version.
