The church of the minorities, known as Bunjevci, was built in 1717 on the ruins of former Ottoman buildings. It was in this church that Sombor was proclaimed an imperial free city in 1749. In the 17th century, the assemblies of the Baćka territory were held here. The present building was built in the classical baroque style and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The church's organ dates back to 1771. Under the church is a crypt in which Catholic citizens are buried.
